Clad in pearls, satin, and vintage Dior, four women drift through Manhattan in a loving homage to Sex and the City. Shot by NYU freshman Jakob Barnett and creatively directed by Eden O’Malley, the photos capture hallmark moments of early-2000s New York shopping sprees, sidewalk gossip, and intimate conversations while celebrating friendship, femininity, and self-expression. Inspired by O’Malley’s move to the city and the show’s romance with New York itself, the shoot blends bold color, playful styling, and reimagined fashion most notably a 1960s Dior nightgown worn proudly on the street to explore how style, like identity, is fluid, personal, and meant to be lived out loud.
